WONDER DIETS
You would like to lose weight quickly and be lovely, retain the effect for many years and not work too hard to achieve this. So you are looking for amazing recipe, wonder diet or new medicine to lose quickly superfluous kilograms. First of all wonder diets are characterized by the fact, that they foresee specific menu for the time of your diet, don't provide all nutrient needed by healthy organism, they are detrimental to your health and disagree with healthy lifestyle rules. Every diet has its bad aspects, the most often diets haven't scientific basis. So if you want to choose one diet, go into the matter and read about its working and consequences. Read the descriptions of the most fashionable diets and decide if you want to change your body for 2-3 weeks or for many years!

One-nutrient diet
It consists in eating only one kind of nutrient for instance apples, grapefruits or potatoes and rice. Without providing to organism important element needed to good working (especially proteins) you can cause grievous harm of important organs.

Fruit and vegetables diet
Purifying diet, you can remove concrements and make our organism clean. During this diet you can eat non-sweet fruit (apples, grapefruits) and all vegetables except potatoes. During first days you can feel badly, it's because of removing toxins from your organism.

Cabbage diet
It is also called "president diet". This is low-calorie diet, consisting in eating without limits soup made of cabbage, carrot, pepper and tomatoes. After such diet you can expect yo-yo effect which is caused by return to old nutrition habits. During first days you lose on weight because you lose a lot of water - it can cause some problems with your stomach, liver and intestines.

Protein and fat diets
It's possible to eat all products which represent proteins and fat category (meat, eggs, butter, cream) but you have to limit eating of carbohydrates (so cereal products, vegetables and fruit). The authors of this diet claim that we put on weight because of oxidizing carbohydrates disorders. Atkinson or Kwaśniewski diets are good examples. Menu is composed of: proteins - 15% of daily food ration, saturated fats - 10%, unsaturated fats - 20% and carbohydrates - 55 %. People who tried to be on such a diet lost weight quickly even while eating fatty meat, cream and cheese. The cause is simple: it's difficult to eat a lot of fat without carbohydrates and lack of appetite make you diminish calorie rations. According to authors diet has two effects: slimming and therapeutic. They mention such diseases like: psoriasis, coronary heart disease, allergy. Most of dieticians treat it with reserve, because of lack of cellulose, minerals, vitamins in menu and because of the fact, that you provide to your organism three times more cholesterol than it's indicated by the norm. Long-lasting being on this diet can cause sclerosis and heart diseases, because of large amounts of fat in menu.

Mayo clinic diet
This diet rejects eating fruits and cereal products, but recommends eating eggs, lean meat, lettuce and drinking coffee. It's recently known as "Copenhagen diet" or "pro-metabolism diet". Because of monotonous menu and low-calorie character it can cause vitamins and minerals deficiency. Eating big amount of eggs can also influence cholesterol level in blood. Quick weight loss (about 5 kg in 2 weeks) can cause general weakness and tiredness.

Vegetarian diet
-of Diamonds- rejects milk and dairy, rich in carbohydrates and cellulose, recommends separation of protein from carbohydrates in your diet, eating fruit and vegetables only till moon. The amount of protein and fat which are provided should be minimum. Being on this diet you should lose weight quickly without starving.

Separation diets
Their authors assume that you digest better while eating right compositions of food. So far it wasn't scientifically proven.
-Montignaca- You shouldn't mix fat with carbohydrates (starch) in one meal (for instance bread with cured meat, meat with potatoes). Products with high IG (glycemic index) which raises blood sugar level are forbidden: honey, sugar, white bread, white rice. Others, "bad" carbohydrates with starch content are: potatoes, corn and pasta. This diet is rather popular because there is no one, specific menu you should use, it's very easy to carry out and it's a diet of diverse nutrients content. Avarage weight loss: 1-2 kg a week.

Both are low-calorie, low-fat diets, but they aren't very reasonable. Principles of Diamonds diet (for instance lack of balanced breakfasts, milk and diary) go against rules of healthy diet. It can be dangerous because of possible deficiency of protein, calcium and magnesium (if we have too much cellulose in our diet, diarrhea can appear, especially if someone has sensitive alimentary canal).

Hunger cures
Despite the fact, that they are very often mentioned while talking about cleaning organism from toxins, they are not good methods to lose weight for a long time. You lose weight during a couple of days of hunger cure, but you are losing water, not fat! After such hunger cure we put on weight, because our metabolism is more slowly and we forget about long-lasting change of the eating manner. Yo-yo effect is inevitable. Despite the fact, that hunger cure can be dangerous (you lose muscular tissue, rhythm of heart disorders), many people are tempted to do it because of quick weight loss (4-5 kg a week).
