Breadcrumb makes you put on weight - FACT: Meat which is
covered with thick breadcrumb and fried with large amount of fat
is very high-calorie. In case of fish, breadcrumb can be much more
high-calorie than its content.
White bread is more calorific than dark - MYTH: differences
are really insignificant, but dark bread is better, because it has
much more fibers and magnesium.
You can eat fruit without limits - MYTH: more than 2-3 pieces
a day can influence in a negative way your diet, because of large
amount of simple sugar. Don't forget that uncontrolled eating of
fruit makes you put on weight. Drinking a lot of fruit juices can
be also the cause of weight gain, not only because of large amount
of natural sugar, but also because of the fact that they are sweeten
more. The best thing you can do is to water down fruit juices.
Eating cabbage improves metabolism - FACT: Not only fresh
cabbage, but also sauerkraut makes your alimentary canal more active
and regulates your intestines work.
Ally yourself with salads - FACT: if they aren't prepared
on the basis of mayonnaise or cream. If you add sauce, calorific
balance of salads is rising.
Cheese is more calorific than meat - FACT: Cheese is much
more calorific than meat, even though their protein content is the
same.
Passing over meals helps lose weight - MYTH: it helps only
store provided food and it increases our hunger during next meal.
Passing over meal means for your organism deprivation of vitamins,
proteins and minerals. Your organism digests better little and frequent
meals than big, one-time provided "calorific bomb".
Snacks make you put on weight - FACT: The most often we
choose salt sticks, nuts and sunflower or pumpkin seeds, which are
rather high-calorie. We think they are not dangerous for our diet,
but the numbers speak for themselves: 15 hazelnuts is 170 kcal.
Some medicines are conducive to overweight - FACT: Psychotropic
or hormonal drugs increase appetite, retain water and salt in your
organism, and increase fat level.
Hunger cures are conductive to overweight - FACT: Organism
devoid of energy which should be provided with food slow down metabolism
and fat is oxidized very slowly.
